We visited hot leggz because of a group on and it seemed like a great spot to watch the American soccer game. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with TVs everywhere! They had great world Cup specials and we also noticed daily specials as well. They really tried to make every guest feel at home. For every goal America made the waitresses walked around with "American themed" Jell-O shots. Nice touch. As for the food it's your typical bar found. We ordered shrimp and some Brazilian cheese balls to start. The cheese balls came with this dipping sauce that was fantastic. I strongly recommend you get these; however they were in a different menu of specials. To eat we ordered steak tacos. My fiancé enjoyed them. Very tender and juicy. Overall we had a great experience with wonderful service!

Loud music. Dark dining room. Slowish service, although unsure if it was the server or kitchen. Food was average.

Finally! I found a place to experience the Chicago Bears games, not just watch it... Make sure to come in early because the place gets packed on game day. Mostly there are Bears fans, but there's always an eclectic mix of fans in South Florida. My biggest complaint is the choice of drinks is a bit small for my palate. I only like craft beers and they are only dipping their toe into this wide selection of flavors. They need some imperial IPA's or Barleywines. They have great beer bucket specials for those who like domestic beers, the price of the food is perfect. And the cook does a good job. I ordered the Grilled chicken sandwich and it was good. The chicken was seasoned great, and cooked just right. Because there's nothing worse than dried out chicken, but it was perfect here. Their fries are out of this world! I don't think I could come here without ordering them. So from now on, my Bears games will be thoroughly enjoyed here. I love that they play Chicago themed songs at commercial times and for every Bears score.

I bought a groupon for the all you can eat shrimp for two people with two sides. I've had mixed experiences with groupons in general but this place was the best. Here's why: 1. They did not look at you like an alien for wanting to use a groupon. 2. First time ever I've gotten more than listed on a groupon. Also got a soup or salad with the side and bread. 3. For an all you can can eat, this was the best experience I've ever had. Typically, you ask for more and its a hassle. Not here. As soon as we asked for more shrimp, we got some. We only had 2 plates of shrimp each so wasn't like we were asking for too much anyways but I've tried the all you can eat shrimp at Red Lobster and never got seconds b/c it became a hassle... 4. Fun, family friendly atmosphere. It is a bar but still ok for the whole family. Will be back!

My Boyfriend and I went there for the first time last night. I was told by a friend of ours of a BEARS bar in lighthouse point and when we got there, I immediately loved the BEARS flags right in front, we walked in and tvs everywhere and even at ur table. This is definitely my place since I am a HUGE BEARS fan. Food is great and the atmosphere is awesome!...Also love playing music during the commercials until the game comes back. Awesome place!!....My new favorite place!

Ducked in after I picked up a Fin-Nor reel that had just finished getting refurbed at nearby Custom Rod and Reel. Tom Greene is the local High Priest / Obi Won Kenobi of tackle, and especially old, exotic, or antique fishing reels. For real. I didn't have the best experience at the Hot Leggz on Commercial Blvd. See my Yelp review for more info. I would most likely never have stepped foot in herrre, but my Facebook-girl Nikki the bartender did this place some justice and fired off some Facebook photos. It drew me in. Good job, Nikki. So, this place is better than the other. Here's why: * Nikki * Nikki's colleague in those oh so memorable white shorts (Ay!) * Better parking * More room * Cleaner * Newer More space. Clean, new, better decor, hotter bartenders, ample parking. Yeah, I choose this one. Check it. Cabeza out!

I saw a few people check in here on yelp and it peaked my curiosity enough to make the 25 mile drive. I was a little surprised for a Saturday at 9pm there wasn't more people, although I wasn't about to leave I just drove 25 miles!! As so as we entered we were greeted right away and taken to a table. The atmosphere is cool, TV's everywhere, walls are covered and each table has a TV, there are even tables outside when I say everywhere I mean everywhere. I imagine this place gets backed for major games and sporting events. The service started a little slow, however as soon as one of the waitresses realized we weren't taken care of se immediately came over apologized, said it wasn't her table but she would take care of us until, our waitress could get caught up. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and a sky vodka lemonade. The soup was delicious actually I would say one of the top three cups of soup I have had! The drink was a 32 ounce service and $8 bucks, my wife tried a sky vodka special called box of nerds, basically it has all kinds of vodka flavors and when all mixed together tastes like a box of nerds. True to the name it was because it taste like a box of nerds. My main course was a skirt steak sandwich, I am not sure why I ordered this, there were so many other things on the menu I wish I would have tried, the steak was good, the bread was a little hard to my liking but all in all the sandwich was good. This is a place I would defiantly come back to for drinks and hanging out to watch a game.

First time dining in. Had late night snacks after work. Finally found my neighborhood spot to chill. Got variety of draught beer and full liquor bar. They run 20%off for restaurant industry-related ppl everyday and 50% on Tuesdays, which is ridiculous! Def recommended for those who work at restaurant! Ordered 1.5lb snow crab legs, and came out better than expected! Great specials everyday, and have a delivery service till midnight, online order, and own an app for the smart phones. Beyond my expectation in the neighborhood. Julianna is a sweet lady who will take care of ya!

Saturday afternoon had Italian beef and salad. I asked what was on salad-she said what is says on menu..it said bed of lettuce your choice of meat..very low carb ...said nothing about mushroom, tomatoes or cheese whiz-salad came soaked in cheese, tiny bits of chicken drowned out by endless tomatoes & mushrooms. Italian beef sandwich was dried meat with olives-not real Italian beef-not worth the 40.00 ticket save your $

I had a few friends in town and they love crab legs. On Saturday nights they have an all you can eat crab leg special at Hott Legzz for $30 a person, and a few months back I had purchased a groupon for all you can eat crab legs for two for $30. It sounded like a great deal, but I was a little apprehensive, you never know how a restaurant will handle a groupon, and this deal seemed a little too good to be true. We arrived around 530 on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was pretty empty. We were seated and the waitress introduced herself and took the groupon with no problems. She explained that the special came with a soup or salad to start and a choice of side...so many choices! I went with the house salad and a side of mac and cheese. You can also choose the flavor of crab boil you would like. Though I love the flavor of crab totally on its own I decided to be adventurous and try the coconut. Soups and salads came out quickly and all tasted fresh and we enjoyed it, but that really wasn't why we had come...next out came the crab. This crab was delicious. Perfectly cooked, and although it was snow crab, the legs were large and it wasn't too much work. I really liked the coconut flavor, and it didn't overwhelm the crab. I will also note that the mac and cheese was really good, I was trying not to eat too much of it and keep room for crab, but I couldn't resist, I love corkscrew noodles. As I mentioned earlier I was worried about using the groupon and how the service would be with all you can eat, but my worries were for nothing. Our waitress was amazing, always asking if she should put the next round in and we never waited more than a few minutes before we had more crab in front of us. Even without the groupon the all you can eat crab special is a great deal, but with the groupon it was a steal. On Sunday nights they offer all you can eat peel and eat shrimp for around $20, which I also may have to try one of these days. Whether for shrimp or crab I will definitely be back.

FYI - veggie burger is not vegan if anyone was wondering lol literally no options here. Reminds me of that meme that says the only vegan options are a salad or fries.

If your in this area and you want a beer there isn't many options. I came with a friend who works in this area for lunch. They have a big beer selection about 60 choices. That is the only shining quality of this place. The food is terrrible. The menu is typical bar food with a Cajun twist: burgers, sandwiches, po' boys, they also have crab leggs. I got the hott leggz chicken sandwich which was grilled chicken with spinach mushrooms ham and a gorganzola cheese sauce. The chicken was grilled and dried out the sauce was over the top smothering the sandwich and was not very good tasting. My friend had a Philly cheese steak and also did not like it. The service was so slow and the restaurant was basically empty. The bartender/waitress was off texting and b-sing with two (I assume) regulars at the bar and forgot about us often. Pretty bad experience and safe to say ill never go back.

My buddy brought me to his favorite hangout Hott Leggz. If you want to sample where the locals hang out this is the spot to check out. I'm glad I did. Just down the road from the beach and truly a local joint. When you walk in the first thing that catches your attention are the $1.00 all over the walls and ceilings. All I can say very interesting but the true test was the food. Now let me begin by saying this is bar food, wings burgers and all the other food and a good selection of cold beer on tap or in the bottle. Our table ordered the wings and crab cakes and we were not disappointed. Take the time drive down the road a pull up a chair and enjoy Hott Leggz.

Great spot that I finally got to check out on a Friday night. Their second location in town is spacious with an open center bar, TVs all around and at each booth., the music playing loud, and a tasty menu of surf and turf bites. Gator bites are simply delicious - served with a remoulade for dipping- highly recommended. Frog legs served too, one stand-out item that distinguishes this sports bar from its competitors. The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious - a 1/2 dozen oysters loaded with spinach and tomato in a creamy Gorgonzola sauce and served with two lime wedges ... hot and yummy. Po-boys of fried oyster, shrimp, and more, crab boils, an assortment of ahi tuna and fish tacos... Full bar, outdoor seating, even play some corn hole alongside the private parking lot.

Worst service I have ever received. Menus were so filthy I was repulsed. Bitchiest waitress on the face of the planet. Took 30 min to come back after dropping our drinks to ask us what our order was. Left hungry and thoroughly upset. Never again! I now understand why they were so slow on football Sunday...

Food was good, you guys are awesome, price was just right, keep up the food job, I'll come back for more soon! Only little problem that we had was, when we got in there was no one to seat us, we had to find someone to seat us. But other than that it was good

I am giving the 4 stars for service, cleanliness and décor was really nice for a sports bar. I came here with some friends to try the frog legs as they were on my list of Yelps 10 firsts challenge. Cherine A. was brave enough to try them with me and we even got Blue and Rosario to come out and join us for the challenge. The reason we picked Hott Leggz to try our little green guys for the first time was from the recommendation of Marqus who raved about how good they were here. We decided a half order would be more than enough for us to eat, lol! I also tried their spicy bloody Mary cause they have a great create your own bloody Mary special on Sundays and it was really good, only $6!! So its true.... they do taste like chicken. The problem I think we all had was the frog legs look so human, like you can see the legs, feet and muscle definition (the little veins didn't help either, LOL). It was definitely worth trying to say I did and they weren't gross at all you just have to get past the visual part of it I think. They also let you sample their shrimp in any one of their house flavors I think I had the hickory, it was really good and when I go back I would love to try more things off the menu. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, I think I will just skip the frog next time ;)

Been here a few times and always disappointed. Food is very lackluster and service is slow. Too many better options in the area. Inside has a lot of tv's and is cool, but it needs work on the food/service end.

YUMMO! Clean, cool, friendly servers(both named chelsea) and a meatloaf and mac n cheese lunch special that was great. Strated with the blu cheese wedge salad...delicious and stacey and I split the meatloaf mac n cheese lunch special. GREAT food!

Skeptical but glad we tried it! My wife and I were looking for something different to try on a Saturday afternoon. We have a small baby, so that meant we weren't going to belly-up to a bar and relax. We decided to give Hot Leggz a shot and were pleasantly surprised! Our server was nice, friendly and helpful. Our food was prepared as we asked and the portions were plenty. The cost of the meal was exactly as we expected. I bet this place can get cranked up at night, especially on the weekends!

I wanted to like this place, I truly did. But the service was terrible. Absolutely terrible. I got there at 5:30, at 7, my food still wasn't at the table. It was ridiculous. They have potential, as the food is actually decent. But the service leaves me with no desire to return. Quite unfortunate. I give them 2 stars because the food was more than edible.

The only complaint I had about my experience here was the menu was impossible to read. I didn't have my glasses with me, which would have helped, but the menu has a black background and there wasn't much light. I opted for a burger rather than continue to struggle with it. It was pretty good and so were the fries. They have a good selection of craft brews on tap so I had a Cigar City Jai Alai It's a sports bar, with TVs everywhere with mostly a local crowd. It looks like they are trying to wallpaper the place with dollar bills like the Cabbage Key Inn near Capitva. I'll go back again, but this time with my glasses.

I had higher hopes for Hott Leggz after having a few good experiences at their commercial blvd location. This second location is close to home and we are in need of good restaurants in this part of lighthouse point/north pompano. Unfortunately this location doesn't have good enough food to make up for the poor service they offer here. I have all the understanding in the world for a service staff when they are busy, but this staff just either was never trained in basic customer service, or more likely I think they just are missing the proper management. No one seems to care much here. No one greeted me. I had to flag down a bartender and ask for a drink. Then I had to ask for a menu. Then I had to get their attention again to order. I might as well have had to ring it in while I was at it. When the runner came with my food, he had no idea who ordered it, I had to direct him to me. No one bothered to check back with me and ask if I was enjoying my entree or wanted anything else. When my seven dollar beer was empty I had to compete for their attention and ask for another. All this time I was watching the staff hang out with what was either regular customers or else employees drinking there on their day off across the bar. The employee most resembling a manger was playing on her phone with one server who might as well have been off that night because she was hanging out with the group at the bar so much. I grew up in this business and I understand we all have bad days, but I am not going to come back and be treated like a second class citizen when there are so many bars and restaurants that conduct themselves in a manner that encourages me to return.

  • M.M. K.

Great place, clean and new but sitting at the bar I have noticed way too much drama going on with the staff. Keep it behind closed doors. Also, is the manager a female? If so, why does not she wear an uniform, or something with the logo on? Too unprofessional looking lady. Sex sells but not in this case! Food is Okay.

Decided to go after buying a groupon for the AYCE crab legs for two + 2 sides for $30. This deal in itself is amazing. It is only offered on Saturdays. We got there at 7:30, The hostess at the front greeted us with a sigh and a huffy " ugh, how many ?" The kind of greeting that makes you think, "I'm sorry am I interrupting you?" She directed us to our tables and walked away without saying anything. Our server came over and was very friendly going over the drink specials and menu. We placed our orders and awaited our food and waited and waited and waited..... At 8:45 a food runner came by and dropped off our first order of crab. Never getting any of our sides or salad. The server came over for the first time since taking our orders to see how our food was. I mentioned to her that we never recieved any of our sides. "Do you still want them?" was the only thing asked. No explanation or no let me get that for you now sir. After finishing the first order of crab i'm sure you can guess: we waited, and waited, and waited again. Waitress was a nice girl but completely clueless. I could have eaten more but I was so irritated after this we decided to leave . This place was steady but not slammed either. Groupon or not I probably won't be back. It's a shame too, because of the crab I did have was super sweet and good.

We decided to give this place a second try since our first trip there was nothing special. We returned for what was described as amazing bloody Mary's during football season. When we arrived we were told they no longer specialize in bloody Mary's during football season, we settled for your run of the mill bloody mary. The appitizers were overpriced for the small portion you got. Brus room has portion sizes almost twice the size. The guacamole was small and looked as if it came from a mass produced.

As is so often the case with a new restaurant opening, we get duplicate entries which I note in this case was probably the result of the establishment, when opening, noting themselves with similar but different names. In this case their initial literature was "Hott Leggz of Lighthouse Point" probably done to differentiate their new location from their original location on Commercial Blvd., so the following review is the same as I had previously posted under that designated name. I have a general dislike of sports bars. I find them usually loaded with out of shape loud mouthed beer guzzlers shouting at silent flat screen televisions, as if there is someone on the other end that could hear them, attempting to tell a highly paid in shape professional athlete how he should or should not play the sport. However, Hott Leggz is different from other sports bars. I like their venue on Commercial, gave it a Four Star rating, have eaten there many times and I like this one located in Lighthouse Point, being their second location, even better. Everything is new and maybe, because the cooking equipment here is new, I distinctly found what I had, though of the same recipe, having a distinctly better taste. I really love frog legs and soft shell crabs. They are two of my all-time favorite foods. I grew up frog hunting nearly every night so I know frog legs well. I have had them fried, sautéed, roasted and just about every way one can prepare them, so I immediately went for their large plate of fried frog legs and also one of their two soft shell crab orders, both of which were served with a delicious remoulade sauce. I realize not many people are into frog legs or soft shells the way I am, but if you happen to be one of them, I highly recommend what they serve at Hott Leggz. For a sports bar, Hott Leggz in Lighthouse Point is a Four Star plus with me. There are plenty of flat screens, all easy to view, a nice friendly crowd and everything is new, spotlessly clean. The only reason I haven't gone to Five Stars are the bartendresses. They're all good looking, polite and personable however anything but professionals as bartenders might be concerned. When I was there they were all constantly yapping with each other, fooling around with the cash registers as if they were some sort of video game and too busy pouring themselves soft drinks while being inattentive and ignoring what they are there for, being to serve customers. I even saw one customer who put money out on the bar give up, put his money back in his pocket and walk out with a disgusted disgruntled look on his face. I know the place is new and maybe these people are new or inexperienced to the job, but whoever the manager might be, he or she might be wise to invest in a cattle prod and give these folks a good volt or two to the ass. In case anyone thinks that I accepted their invitation to Hott Leggz for its grand opening or accepted anything for free or at discount, I did not.

This place is a great place to watch a game, TVs all over the place, including at your table. The monitors are big and the picture is great. The downside is the food, after a long wait our wings came cold and dry, they sat under the lamp for to long. They did get us new ones when we complained, and they were better, but not great. The Po Boys, soups and salads I've had were all, just mediocre. Finally as mentioned, the few times I've been here the service was not great.

I was very happy. They had a good selection of quality beers. The naked breaded wings and Philly cheese steak sandwich were really good. The service was excellent. We went during the really slow time. And we all know how the really slow time service is usually in a restaurant.

My friend and I went there for lunch a few months ago and vowed never to return, but he had a Groupon and suggested we give it a try one more time. Sorry to say, there wasn't much of an improvement. The juke box music was still uncomfortably loud and the food was less than fair. We ordered a simple Italian sausage on a bun covered with sautéed bell peppers. The bun was good, but too huge for the little sausage and peppers. They provided more peppers after I asked for more and they were good. I did not eat half of my bun and made a nice half sandwich. The French fried shoestring potatoes were the only thing that was very good. I will not give them another chance!

These guys know how to cook crab. Joe's Crab Shack could learn something from these guys. 4 bowls of crab and every single leg was easy to get all the meat out of. Perfect flavors and just delicious. Kids had Mac n cheese and it was the cheesiest, creamiest ever. Cesar salad was good and I liked the black bean soup. It was a bit too sweet from orange juice. Love having the tv on every table. Really clean with shiny bar stools and booths. I was a bit shocked actually. New fav

Hott Leggs is a wing place, dont let the name fool you into thinking it's strip club or something weird :) Went here for a quick dinner with my family. The service was excellent. Our server visited our table several times and was knowledgeable of the menu. She even brought us some free samples of boiled shrimp. Food here was pretty good. The crab cakes were way to salty but the wings, wedge salad and shrimp were good. My brother liked the music and the fact that most tables had their own TV so you can watch the game. I liked it because they had wines on the happy hour menu. Overall it was a great stop for dinner and we would come back here.

Giving it 4 stars because it's a great place to watch the Bears and get some good food. They show other games on the many many TVs they have as well. Note that on yelp it says it's closed Sundays but that's not the case. I informed them and they should be fixing it. I've had the Philly cheese steak and Chicago style beef sandwich and they were both very tasty. Their fries are fantastic. Service is friendly and pretty fast. No complaints at all. Place gets really packed when the games start so get here a little before.

Great atmosphere, just don't eat here. Guacamole from a tube like Taco Bell... Dressing for salads is gross like over processed Sysco tub dressing, salsa had a twang like it was spoiled... Fish dip was good though. $9.50 for 1 captain and coke... They have to pay for all those TVs somehow. Super friendly and attentive staff. I will come back to watch football and not eat and drink draft beer I guess.

Between the delicious food, great drink specials, and awesome game-watching ambiance, Hott Leggz is the perfect neighborhood sports bar (especially if you are a football fan). The place was packed but our adorable server Annabella was very attentive and made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Even though it was loud and crazy she did a great job taking care of us. To recap: Food - A (eat the skrimp po' boy and thank me later) Drinks - A (more impressive beer selection than I anticipated) Atmosphere - B+ (kinda loud, but definitely fun) Service - A (for Annabella!) TOTAL GRADE: A

I gave this place a shot because they always come into my job and offer their supposably great food and service. Came here on my ONE day off that I get a week an had the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. We start off with the girl at the hostess stand with a major attitude problem. Come to find she's our waitress... Great! We decide to give it a shot anyway. After we receive our crappy vodka lemonade drinks the waitress runs away without taking our order or even acknowledging us. Figured she must have had a busy table, nope... She wanted to conversate with her friend for 5 min. We figured after waiting the 5 min she would come over... Nope she proceeds to seat a family that wants their meal to be as "cheap as possible". What a gas! Little did she know we would have been her best table of the day. She finally came back to our table after 30 min, by then we just wanted to leave. Paid for our crappy drinks and left. Don't come her unless you want to be treated like garbage, never again!!!!!!!

Don't get the good reviews, service was slow and the waitress was really bad. The bathrooms were the most disgusting bathrooms ever. If what the customers see is that disgusting then I don't even want to know about the kitchen and how they handle food. After the dirty conditions and awful waitress we just left. No way would I risk eating there.

The service was fine. I had all you can eat crab legs. They were very gritty. I had to wipe them off with a napkin. They weren't bad tasting but the amount of grit made me believe they weren't washed off at all.

Overpriced crab legs. Not very flavorfulll. And don't appreciate being charged seperate 50 cent for a single side of cocktail sauce while trying to add taste. Better seafood out there. Keep going. Beer and atmosphere great. Just eat before u get there.

Went there with a Groupon. Just about everything we ordered was considered a "special" which was excluded from the Groupon. Even their "daily everday specials" were considered a "special". Spoke to the manager who basically did not concede anything. Ran my Groupon anyway and said she would reverse it, which never happened. I spend a lot of money on going out to eat and drink but this place, this particular location, is off the list. Food wasn't bad though.

I wanted this place to be good I really did. From the minute we walked in it went from bad to worse. We are hardly "those people"who complain about everything. This was just horrible.Walked in and we were not greeted. Then after my wife asked if we should seat ourselves. The bartender said "yeah sit wherever". The first table (booth) we sat at looked like it hasnt been cleaned in weeks. We moved to a table. We then we were handed menus that were as greasy and grimy as the table we moved from. With there less than stellar start.I felt like I was in a hidden camera show. We stayed commited and played it safe.We ordered guac and chips. The guac tasted out of a bag. So we played it safe AGAIN and ordered salads.my wife ordered the spinach cobb salad with skirt steak as an add on protein.Myself just a house salad. My wife wanted to share the steak because it appeared to be a large enough portion to share.Unfortunately the steak was awful.Wait for it ....wait for it. WHEN ASKING THE WAITRESS FOR SILVERWARE.She said no sorry we only have plastic forks and knives.Ok please someone help me with this.I was unable to cut my salad up with these micro silver plastic utensils. AT THIS point I had ask the waitress to take it away.I was done.My wife was a trooper and gave it a college try.Unfortunately she was also dicouraged and when told the waitress she was not happy with the steak flavor and texture. The waitress swiftly removed the plate. So our meal consisted of Quac and Chips for $25.00 with tip.Yes we tipped her (she is not the owner or manager I think) .She removed my house salad. There was one waitress, one bartender, never saw any management.Unreal......!!!! GROSSLY DISSAPOINTED. We always give a second chance.I dont think we can do this here. RUN DONT WALK. PLEASE get the app Florida Restaurant Inspections.I should have looked here first.39 violations in January. 3 in March so there was an effort made. SMH......!
